Easy One-Pot Savory Cranberry Sauce

Thanksgiving is tomorrow and some of us are still trying to figure out the perfect side dish to pair with the big meal. Here’s a simple side that you can and should make all season long. For something downright delicious and different from your traditional cranberry sauce, you’ll love the savory and tart flavors of this homemade cranberry sauce.

Savory Cranberry Sauce

What You Will Need

1x 2-pound bag fresh cranberries

1/2 cup granulated white sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 orange zested and juiced

1 cup apple juice

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp ground nutmeg

1 tsp whole cloves

1 tsp salt

Instructions

Mix all of the ingredients in a sauce pot and simmer for 45 minutes or until cranberries are soft. Once the cranberries are soft it is ready to serve. If you prefer saucier cranberries, then you can add 1/8 cup more juice and puree. Enjoy!
