July 4th Pineapple Flank Steak Recipe:
You will need:
1 ½ pounds Flank Steak
1 large zip-top plastic freezer bag
2 cups soy sauce
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Place steak in the large zip-top bag.
Mix all of the ingredients together.
Pour the marinade over the steak.
Seal the bag and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
Rinse the steak
Grill steak, covered with grill lid, over medium-high heat (350° to 400°) 5 minutes on each side or to the desired degree of doneness.
Let stand 10 minutes before slicing
Cut the steak diagonally across the grain
We recommend accompanying with a spicy lime cabbage!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 head green cabbage
Juice of 5 limes
1 ½ tablespoon salt
1 serrano chili small dice (or Pepper of your choice)
Shave the Cabbage as thin as you can get it
Toss the rest of the ingredients in a bowl with the cabbage
Serve on top of the flank steak
